Back from speaking with Telrim in the Nexus

Starscream strides into the room that she's set aside for the young yeerk's use, her steps sharp and precise as she focuses on her anger instead of the PINpoint that she just gave to the human woman she'd hoped to protect.

"You!" she says coldly to the creature, all trace of her usual friendly demeanor missing. "Have you been in contact with your superiors?"

Arrash feels the pull, and isn't sure whether to be grateful for its squooshable body or not. The painful tugging on its skin and nerves isn't as important as that speed. And that AAAAAGGH!

Actually increases just a little as five rookies come roaring up to meet the intruders, their commanding officer hanging back just a little to let the young Transformers at the target. One of the youngsters is soon weebling groundward in flying saucer mode as another transforms and frantically pats out a flaming arm.

Starscream is long past them, chasing the other three in what turned rout so quickly as to be laughable if she weren't yelling at them for wasting her time and being spineless.

"They're the guards?" Arrash laughs, with the strange synthesised vocal equipment. "Is that all?"

"NO! They're academy brats that were foisted off on me as an insult! SUNHALO THIS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!"

"GO BLOW IT OUT YOUR EXHAUST!" comes the clear reply from the red and black jet that had followed the rookies out.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Starscream abandons the n000bs and aims for the pro.

Arrash laughs to itself, though part of it is thinking that's the kind of predictable reaction lesser Yeerks view as visserly. Arrash doesn't see it as a bad thing.

Cybertronian vituperation flies fast and furious as Starscream seems to nearly blur in her movements, the dogfight she's now engaging in even including body checks and wing swipes as well as shots and dodges, swoops, dives, and spins. Her poor passenger will be lucky to stay conscious.

Somewhere between the (precisely) three-point-five second nosedive and the sixth sideswipe, Arrash's state of mind passes beyond fuzzy and into the realm of fleeting blackouts. Starscream is many things, but she's not designed for passengers. And the little Yeerk is rather lacking in compensatory equipment.

And then they're on the ground, and Starscream's small hands are cradling her passenger as she calls to it in subsonics.

"You didn't tell me you had a passenger! Starscream, you could have killed it!" a voice very like hers is saying irately from a little distance away.

Arrash stirs, coiling in on itself. There's a voice other than Starscream's there, but to Arrash it's more a series of distant vibrations than understandable speech.

"...What?" it squeaks, firing sonar bursts to get some idea of its location.

"Can you understand me?" asks Starscream, tuning out her daughter's scolding as she scans the yeerk for damage. Several yards away a medical team is tending to one of the rookies who came out to fight as another rookie lays on the ground and looks mournfully up at the sky.

They'd been the academy's cocky trouble causers, this bunch. They wouldn't be causing trouble for a long while, now.

There's no real harm done: the little invertebrate's systems are busy recovering from the experience. It helps that a number of Yeerk tissues have a remarkably fast capacity for regeneration.

"Yes." It turns itself and rears up a little, trying to make sense of the waves of sound around it. Damned gaseous environment. Why does it have to be so rarified? "Where are we?"

"...You lost your optic scanner." Starscream roots around in her subspace till she finds it, then sets it carefully in place as she calls for a drone back at Arrash's quarters to send the exosuit.

Sunhalo catches the little device as it appears, then holds it as Starscream carefully sets the yeerk into it, understanding the need to get a distressed creature as comfortable as possible before going into details.

Arrash is surprised to be placed back in the exosuit, but it doesn't waste time squirming into place. "That's better..." It flicks the sensors around as it takes control of them. "How long was I... disoriented?"

It doesn't like making mention of that little display of weakness, no sirree.
