Back from speaking with Telrim in the Nexus

Starscream strides into the room that she's set aside for the young yeerk's use, her steps sharp and precise as she focuses on her anger instead of the PINpoint that she just gave to the human woman she'd hoped to protect.

"You!" she says coldly to the creature, all trace of her usual friendly demeanor missing. "Have you been in contact with your superiors?"

"They're not self aware." Starscream goes into a brisk spin, then does a loop that no piloted jet would be capable of and with one shot suddenly becomes the pursuer instead of the pursued.

Arrash hisses in excitement, knowing she's just outperformed any Taxxon pilot it's flown with. "Are there no sentient guards here?" it asks, not really caring about the answer. It's too caught up in the aerial display it's literally in the centre of.

"Mmmhmm." Another spin, and then a sudden drop, and two more drones are plummeting downward, damaged wings trailing smoke. "We might get a few later."

She screams skyward again, her sights locking onto the wing of the drone she's pursuing, and which is trying desperately to shake her.

Arrash is making small, thrilled noises, totally lost in the fight. "Wing him!" it cheers. "Now!"

It's also falling into the trap of backseat combat.

"Not yet." Her voice is absent and the tone of it tells just how much she's enjoying the chase. The other drone is closing the gap to their rear, obviously laboring under the misapprehension that it's pursuing them... it will soon learn its mistake.

"What are you waiting for?" Arrash's sensors flick around, but its attention is fixed on the drone in front of them.

Starscream's only reply is to drop like a stone, then shoot upward again. The drone that was pursuing them has just shot its teammate out of the sky. Starscream wings it and doesn't pause to watch it plummet; instead whipping around to meet the remote drones that are now arrowing in from three directions. "Ten! Yes!"

Arrash isn't in the body to yell as she drops, but what few vitals it has spike as she manoeuvres one way and the other. At her declaration it cheers and tunes its sensors further. "Now this will be interesting."

The only reply is gleeful laughter, but it's impressive laughter after all the vorns the Transformer's had to perfect it.

Dr. Horrible, eat your heart out.

And Starscream is playing chicken with one of the RCDs.

Arrash knows her skill too well now to be truly afraid. Still, it's a fair question whether that rapid-fire clicking is down to excitement or nervousness...

A disabling shot that the drone dodges at the last moment, and Starscream passes it so closely that she can feel the tickle of its skin against her own. She makes no sound, though inwardly she's grinning with ferocious glee, only skins around and grabs the chance to wing a second drone and then go into a complex and mind blowing evasive maneuver.

Arrash notices its own squeaking and curbs it, trying to keep its reactions to itself and its dignity intact in one piece.

...Thirteen, which way up are they? Is that part of a wing flying past them?!

Weeeee! Spinning freefall, and flying right through the cloud of drone debris that she just created!

If it only had Hork-Bajir lungs right now...

Some of its exterior nerve endings are firing anyway, as if it could roar.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
